\ N Licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist required.
\ N Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
\ N Current CPR and NRP required.
\ N Current related credentialspreferred (NPS, C-NPT, etc.)

\ N Experience REQUIRED:
\ N Two (2) years of work experience as a Respiratory Therapist
\ N One (1) year of work experience in NICU
\ N Experience PREFERRED:
\ N Three (3) years of work experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
\ N Previous affiliation or work experience in a similar practice setting
\ N Education/training REQUIRED:
\ N Education, training and/or experience that has satisfied the eligibility requirements for the National Board for Respiratory Care (or its predecessor organizations)
\ N Education/training PREFERRED:
\ N Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
\ N Independent action(s) required:
\ N Cardiopulmonary assessment and monitoring, including during emergency response;
airway care;
selecting appropriate ventilators and non-ordered ventilator parameters;
consulting with providers and interdisciplinary team members regarding the patient
\ N To competently deliver and document routine patient care along with safely administering prescribed medications;
recognize implications of medications with routine vs. complicated use.
\ N Provides pre-hospital advanced life-support care to air/ground transport patients across the lifespan from initial contact until patient care is relinquished to medical staff.
\ N Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and to maximize patient and customer satisfaction.
\ N Maintain work areas in a clean and well stocked manner.
\ N May include ECMO management.
\ N Perform shift team leader role in the Respiratory Care supervisor’s absence.
\ N Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable): N/A

\ N Required to rotate shifts
\ N Work on weekends and some holidays
\ N Mandatory on call
May be exposed to hazardous situations prior to and during transport
\ N May be exposed to extreme weather conditions
\ N May work in confined spaces(poorly lit)

Compensation Range
$36.31 - $56.29\ NActual salary offers willbe based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
