Road Safety Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for a Road Safety Coordinator to manage and implement road and transport safety requirements with a strong focus on IVMS data generation monitoring and reporting . The candidate will be responsible for supporting HSE and transport safety activities and ensuring compliance with applicable road safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and implement Road Safety and Transport Safety requirements.
  
• Monitor and generate IVMS data and reports .
  
• Conduct HSE and Transport Safety inductions/orientations .
  
• Conduct HSE and road safety awareness sessions for workers.
  
• Understand and implement Journey Management Plans (JMP) .
  
• Support Transport/Road Safety Risk Assessments .
  
• Conduct vehicle inspections and check required safety devices.
  
• Implement Transport Emergency Response Plans and procedures .
  
• Prepare Road Safety awareness training materials .
  
• Maintain road safety and IVMS-related databases.
  
• Generate and review safety reports from IVMS or equivalent systems.
  
• Coordinate with HSE transport and other relevant teams on road safety matters.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable ADNOC road safety requirements and procedures .
  

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma from an accredited higher-learning institution.
  
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent subject to ADNOC Group approval.
  
• Other HSE certifications may be considered as per ADNOC requirements.
  
• IVMS software expertise Mandatory .
  
• Valid UAE Driving Licence Mandatory .
  
• Additional HSE training/certifications will be an advantage.
  

Experience

• Minimum 24 years of overall industry experience .
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in managing/implementing Road Safety activities .
  
• Experience with IVMS data generation and reporting .
  
• Lead Road Safety Coordinator: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing road transport safety.
  

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Road & Transport Safety .
  
• Understanding of H2S and Breathing Apparatus where applicable.
  
• Ability to conduct vehicle safety inspections.
  
• Knowledge of Journey Management and emergency response procedures.
  
• Good report preparation and database management skills.
  
• Good verbal and written English communication skills .
  
• Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
