Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed 2 D drawings for Roads and Highways projects using Auto CAD Convert engineering notes, specifications, rough sketches, and design information into professional engineering drawings in accordance with established drafting standards and procedures. Produce engineering deliverables including general arrangement drawings, layout plans, profiles, cross sections, grading plans, construction drawings, structural details, and other project documentation. Collaborate closely with design engineers to develop, review, and finalize design drawings for assigned projects. Perform dimensional and routine engineering calculations required for drawing preparation and verify the accuracy of layouts and drawings, making revisions as necessary. Develop and maintain accurate 2 D and 3 D road models, incorporating design updates and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Interpret and apply technical manuals, engineering standards, supplier/manufacturer drawings, and applicable codes to ensure compliance with project and company requirements. Ensure all drawings and models comply with CAD standards and ISO 19650 workflows and approval processes. Maintain drawing files and documentation in accordance with project document control procedures using Project Wise and/or ACC Navigator. Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to support the timely delivery of project milestones. Perform other drafting and design-related responsibilities as assigned. Key Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Roads and Highways design drafting Proficiency in Auto CAD, and knowledge of Civil 3 D, Navisworks, and Project Wise and/or ACC Navigator. Strong understanding of Roads and Highways design principles, drafting standards, and engineering drawing preparation. Proven ability to develop accurate 2 D drawings for road and highway infrastructure projects. Familiarity with engineering standards, applicable codes, and ISO 19650 information management requirements. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and supplier/manufacturer documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver work within established deadlines. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
