Sales development representative (intern)

Company Description

BPro Technologies is a fully remote managed IT company serving businesses across North America and the UK. We provide managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, infrastructure, AI automation, and web development under one team, one contract, and one monthly fee. BPro is built to eliminate gaps between multiple IT vendors by offering a single operating record and clear accountability across all systems.

Our services include 24/7 NOC/SOC monitoring, Zero Trust security, cloud migrations, AI-powered automation, and security-first web development, with Microsoft-certified engineers and a typical client onboarding time of 2–4 weeks.

Role Description

The Sales Development Representative (Intern) role is a remote position focused on supporting the growth of BPro Technologies' client base. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target markets, identifying potential clients, and generating qualified leads for the sales team. The intern will conduct outbound calls and emails, nurture early-stage relationships, and schedule discovery meetings or demos. The role involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, following structured sales processes, and collaborating closely with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach campaigns. The intern will also assist with preparing sales materials, tracking performance metrics, and providing feedback on lead quality and market insights.

As BPro is an early-stage, fast-growing company, this role offers significantly more exposure, ownership, and hands-on learning than a typical internship — you'll work closely with leadership, see the direct impact of your work, and get involved in areas beyond a standard SDR scope as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities Research target markets and identify potential clients across North America and the UK Generate qualified leads through outbound calls, emails, and other outreach channels Nurture early-stage relationships with prospects and schedule discovery meetings or demos Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM tools Follow structured sales processes and best practices Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and outreach campaigns Assist in preparing sales materials and presentations Track and report on performance metrics Provide feedback on lead quality and market insights

Shift & Duration Shift: 7-hour IST night shift, starting between 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM IST (aligned with client hours across North America and the UK) Duration: 6-month internship, with conversion to full-time based on performance Compensation: Fixed stipend plus revenue share on closed deals

Qualifications Interest in Inside Sales and outreach, with a willingness to build skills in handling objections and supporting the sales pipeline Interest in Lead Generation and Business Development to identify prospects and contribute to market expansion Strong communication skills to engage professionally with clients via phone, email, and virtual meetings Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and use CRM or sales enablement tools Interest in B2 B technology services, including managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and automation Degree or certification in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field Comfort with learning technical concepts and explaining them clearly to non-technical audiences Professional, inclusive attitude with a willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve

Why Join Us?

This is a genuine intern-to-hire opportunity - perform well for 6 months, and you're in as a full-time SDR with real earning potential through commissions. Because we're an early-stage company, you'll get broader exposure and faster learning than you would at a larger, more established organization — more responsibility, more visibility into how the business runs, and more room to grow quickly.
