About the Role
We are looking for driven, confident sales development professionals to generate qualified opportunities for our sales team.
Your main responsibility will be to reach prospective customers, understand their needs and book qualified product demos. You will work closely with our Business Operations Head and demo team, who will handle detailed presentations, proposals and closing.
This role suits someone who enjoys starting conversations, follows up consistently and is motivated by clear targets.
What You’ll Do
Make daily outbound calls to prospective customers using assigned lists and self-sourced leads. Research target businesses and identify relevant decision-makers, including business owners and HR leaders. Use calls, email and Linked In to start conversations and generate interest in Buzy Team. Understand prospects’ current processes, business challenges and interest in exploring a solution. Qualify prospects against our target customer profile and book relevant product demos. Explain Buzy Team’s value clearly and handle initial questions and objections. Confirm appointments, send reminders and follow up on missed meetings to improve attendance. Provide the demo team with clear notes on the prospect’s needs, current tools, decision-making role and expected timelines. Maintain accurate activity records, follow-ups and next steps in the CRM. Work toward agreed daily activity targets and weekly and monthly targets for qualified demos booked and attended. Share prospect feedback to improve targeting and outreach messaging.
What We’re Looking For
Preferably 1–3 years of experience in B2 B appointment setting, inside sales, telecalling or an SDR/BDR role. Strong freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply. Confident, professional verbal and written communication. Comfort with regular cold calling and handling rejection. Strong listening skills and the ability to ask relevant qualifying questions. Consistent follow-up habits and attention to detail. A goal-oriented, organised and coachable approach. Ability to learn a software product and explain its business benefits simply. Familiarity with CRM tools, Linked In and outreach platforms is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
Appointment setting for B2 B Saa S or business software. Experience reaching business owners, HR managers or senior decision-makers. Exposure to HRMS, payroll, recruitment or workforce management software.
How Success Will Be Measured
Qualified demos booked and attended. Relevance of prospects and quality of qualification. Meeting attendance rate. Consistent outreach and timely follow-ups. Accurate CRM records and useful handover notes.
