Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sales Manager with a strong background in commodity trading and the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales business development client relationship management and commercial negotiations within the commodities or petrochemical sectors.

This is a senior-level position requiring a commercially driven professional with an established industry network strong market knowledge and the ability to develop new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the companys commodity and petrochemical business.
• Identify develop and secure new customers and business opportunities across relevant markets.
• Negotiate commercial terms pricing contracts and long-term supply agreements.
• Monitor commodity and petrochemical market trends pricing movements supply and demand and competitor activity.
• Work closely with trading operations logistics finance and management teams to ensure successful execution of transactions.
• Lead the full sales cycle from identifying prospects through negotiation contract closure and account management.
• Prepare sales forecasts market reports pipeline updates and commercial proposals for senior management.
• Attend industry conferences exhibitions and client meetings to develop new relationships and expand the companys market presence.
• Identify opportunities to enter new markets expand product portfolios and increase trading volumes and profitability.
• Ensure all commercial activities are conducted in accordance with company policies contractual requirements and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• 8 years of proven sales and business development experience within commodity trading petrochemicals chemicals energy or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of commodity and petrochemical markets products pricing structures and trading practices.
• Established network of customers buyers distributors traders or industry contacts.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating profitable business.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent communication presentation and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to independently develop business and manage the complete sales process.
• Strong analytical and market research skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
• Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and business development.
• Bachelors degree in business Finance Economics Chemical Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be a senior commercially minded sales professional who brings both industry expertise and an established network of contacts. They should be confident dealing with senior decision-makers capable of negotiating high-value transactions and comfortable working in a fast-paced international trading environment.

Experience in petrochemical products crude oil polymers chemicals base oils solvents or other traded commodities would be highly advantageous.
