We’re recruiting a Sales Manager – Toys (Modern Trade) for one of our clients, a leading trading company based in Dubai, UAE.
About Our Client:
Our client is an established trading company specializing in the distribution of consumer products, with a focus on the toy industry. The company works with major modern trade accounts, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and large-format retailers, offering a diverse portfolio of toy products across the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strongcommercial relationships with major modern trade accounts
- Negotiate trading terms, annualjoint business plans, promotions, and shelf space agreements to maximize mutualgrowth
- Conduct regular business reviewswith buyers and category managers to monitor performance and identify growthopportunities
- Develop and execute the ModernTrade sales plan to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets
- Drive distribution growth andensure the full toy portfolio is listed and well-represented across all accounts
- Monitor sell-in and sell-outdata, manage stock rotation, and minimize returns and ageing inventory
- Manage trade spend andpromotional budgets effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI)for all activations
- Plan and execute in-storepromotions, seasonal campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, back-to-school, and festivecampaigns), and new product launches in collaboration with the marketing team
- Monitor competitor activities,pricing, and new product launches within the UAE toy market
- Work closely with warehouse andlogistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and stock availability
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business,Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 4–7 years of sales or keyaccount management experience in Modern Trade, specifically within the toydistribution sector in the UAE
- Proven track record of managinghypermarkets, supermarkets, or large-format toy retailers
