Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scrub / Clinical Application Specialist to support our Orthopedic Joints & Sports Surgery division. The role involves assisting surgeons during knee joint replacement and sports surgery procedures, supporting product evaluations, and ensuring the seamless adoption of Medworks' advanced orthopedic solutions across leading hospitals in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support in the OT for orthopedic joint replacement and sports surgery procedures.
• Assist surgeons with accurate instrumentation, implants, and devices during surgical procedures.
• Support product demonstrations, trials, and evaluations in hospitals and with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Act as a clinical resource for surgeons, nurses, and medical staff on product usage and safety.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
• Maintain accurate case support reports and feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on surgical experience in the OT, specializing in Joint Replacement, and Sports Surgery.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, implants, and procedural protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Willingness to travel across the UAE as required.
• A valid UAE driving license is a must.
• Arabic-speaking is an added advantage.
