You will run full-cycle accounting for a set of UAE businesses — from day-to-day bookkeeping through month-end close, VAT, and reporting — while helping raise the standard of the whole team. This is a hands-on senior role for someone who enjoys both the detail and the bigger picture.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, reconciled books and lead month-end close for assigned clients
- Prepare VAT returns and support Corporate Tax preparation
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Review and mentor junior accountants
- Identify and implement process and automation improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with UAE experience
- Working knowledge of UAE VAT
- Solid IFRS and double-entry fundamentals
- Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications
- Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA/CA/CPA)
- Experience with cloud accounting software
- Experience serving multiple clients in an outsourced setting
