Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Rayyan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions Monitor cash flow and forecasting Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Participate in audits and assist with preparation of audit materials Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred) Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (SAP preferred) Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA certification is a plus Salary: $1600/month City: Al-Rayyan, Qatar Contract Type: Contract (3 months) Accommodation: Not provided
