Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Al-Rayyan. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning strategies
- Manage payroll processing and related tax filings
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting laws, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Proficiency in using accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
- Biometric passport preferred
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. Fluency in English is required for this role. If you are a skilled Accountant looking for a challenging opportunity in Al-Rayyan, Nepali candidates are preferred for this position.
