Senior Banking Administrative Executive

Banks don't wait for anyone. Neither do the payments behind millions of traders. If you want a role where the banking relationships you manage directly decide whether Deriv can move money, this is it.

Why This Matters

Deriv's mission is Trading for Anyone, Anywhere, Anytime. That only works if the money moves: across currencies, jurisdictions and time zones, every day of the week.

Behind every deposit and withdrawal sits a banking or payment partner, a signed agreement, a compliance file and a person who keeps it all in order.

Banking operations at this scale can't run on inbox memory and tribal knowledge. We're building systems where procedures become workflows and repeat tasks run without being chased. Finance automation at Deriv already processes real transactions, not demos. This role is where banking expertise and that automation meet.

Why Deriv

We're already automating finance and operations. Invoice processing, procurement orchestration and reconciliation run on automation today. More than 400 people across the company use our internal workflow orchestration platform. You'll join work that's underway, not a plan waiting for approval.

You’ll build the tools, not just use them. The internal tech and automation teams are close by. When you find a banking bottleneck, you work with them to remove it.

Real exposure to the financial system. Bank negotiations, KYB, audits and partner relationships across regions. This is breadth that most banking roles keep in separate teams.

Where You'll Contribute

As a Senior Banking Administrative Executive at Deriv, you will play a vital role in expanding, optimizing, and maintaining our global banking and financial partner relationships. Operating from our Dubai office in Business Bay, you will leverage commercial judgment, relationship management skills, and AI-powered automation to drive operational efficiency and protect Deriv’s assets.

As an AI-first company, we encourage you to leverage digital workflows and AI tools to reduce manual administrative tasks, streamline processes, and focus on high-impact strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Process & Automation: Review everyday banking procedures to find manual bottlenecks, then work with our internal tech and automation tools to make them faster, easier, and less error-prone.
• Banking Networks: Research potential new banking and payment partners globally to help expand our financial infrastructure.
• Partner Relations: Act as a key contact for banks and financial service providers, building strong working relationships through regular meetings and clear communication.
• Contract Negotiation: Review and negotiate commercial terms, fee structures, and service agreements with banks to make sure we get the best terms possible.
• Onboarding & Compliance: Complete bank applications, handle due diligence requests, and keep all KYB (Know Your Business) documentation accurate and up to date.
• Documentation & Data Management: Store and organize all banking agreements properly, keeping track of contract updates, renewal dates, and bank account records.
• Issue Resolution: Keep an eye on ongoing banking operations and tackle service delays, account issues, or partner queries before they become larger problems.
• Audits & Special Projects: Assist with internal and external audits by pulling required banking records, and pitch in on special operational projects as needed.

Who You Are

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in banking operations, payment operations, or corporate banking administration.
• AI & Digital Literacy: Comfort using AI-driven productivity tools and digital workflows, paired with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Negotiation & Commercial Skills: Strong background in reviewing financial terms, negotiating agreements, and understanding corporate banking procedures.
• Organization & Detail: Exceptional organizational capabilities, strong attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Communication & Maturity: Excellent written and spoken English, strong interpersonal skills, high integrity, and the confidence to engage with executive stakeholders.

The Honest Reality

This is demanding work. Banks move on their own timelines, and a delayed account or an expired document becomes your problem quickly. You'll negotiate terms with people who do this for a living, and you'll be accountable when auditors ask for a record. You'll also be asked to automate parts of a job you may have spent years doing by hand.

But you'll own relationships that matter, shape how banking operations run, and see your improvements go live. If you want a role that maintains the status quo, this isn't it. If you want to make banking operations run better than they do today, it might be.
