What You'll Do

• Lead electrical engineering efforts for complex airport and aviation infrastructure projects.
• Develop and oversee the design of airport electrical systems, including airfield lighting, terminal power distribution, standby power systems, and other mission-critical airport infrastructure.
• Drive engineering strategy, QA/QC, commissioning, and project delivery.
• Support proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts within the aviation market.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
• Provide technical leadership on large, complex, and high-visibility airport projects.
• Collaborate with airport authorities, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications

✔ Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field

✔ 10+ years of electrical engineering design experience

✔ Proven experience designing electrical systems for airports and aviation facilities , including terminals, airfield infrastructure, and support facilities

✔ Strong knowledge of airport electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

✔ Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex projects

✔ Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

✔ Experience with major commercial, international, or hub airport projects

✔ Familiarity with FAA standards and airport infrastructure requirements

✔ Experience supporting business development and client relationship management
