Our client, a leading industrial engineering and manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer in Wallula, WA 99363 . This position will support the installation and commissioning of current and future industrial projects, working closely with vendors, contractors, and teams from around the world while providing electrical engineering expertise throughout the full project lifecycle.
Location: Wallula, WA 99363
Pay Rate Range: $115,000–$125,000/year, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
· Lead electrical design and construction activities for industrial facilities and process equipment
· Support projects from initial concept and specifications through design, installation, testing, commissioning, and after-service
· Develop high-voltage installation layouts and coordinate with power providers
· Design low-voltage electrical distribution for building HVAC, process, and production equipment
· Develop interior, exterior, and emergency lighting layouts
· Design main cable tray systems and underground service routing
· Specify and coordinate systems including fire alarm, gas alarm, access control, CCTV, building controls, fire suppression, ventilation, and A/C systems
· Coordinate with vendors, contractors, suppliers, utilities, and internal engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met
· Participate in project budgeting and development of supplier tender materials
· Support large-scale industrial and greenfield factory projects, as well as smaller equipment and engineering projects
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and technical requirements
· Maintain project documentation and reporting in accordance with company standards
· Ensure appropriate safety, environmental, and technical requirements are incorporated into project solutions
· Travel to project sites, supplier locations, and other facilities for project execution, coordination, and commissioning
Requirements:
· Degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred
· 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within industrial facilities, manufacturing, or large-scale projects
· Experience with industrial electrical design, site installation, construction, testing, and commissioning
· Experience with high-voltage installations and low-voltage electrical distribution
· Experience managing electrical scope through multiple phases of project execution
· Experience working with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and utility providers
· Large-scale industrial or greenfield project experience preferred
· Strong communication and project coordination skills
· Experience working with multinational teams and stakeholders preferred
· Ability to work extended periods onsite, including temporary relocation as needed
· Ability and willingness to travel approximately 60% domestically and internationally for different projects. This project is 2 years long, located in Wallula, WA, and will not require the travel component outside of the job site.
