Are you looking for that next big Finance opportunity where you can make an impact on one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon? Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst partnering with our EMEA Amazon Global Sales teams to deliver strategic initiatives, increase revenue, and maximize return on investments while delighting our customers.
In this role, you will support senior Sales Leaders by diving deep into business drivers, identifying measures of success, building and implementing mechanisms to drive governance, and providing data-driven insights that influence decision making. You'll leverage your expertise in financial analysis, business partnering, and clear communication to develop strategic frameworks that drive long-term revenue growth in a dynamic, innovative environment at the forefront of technology.
At Amazon, we believe that in-person collaboration is essential to our culture and innovation. While we allow flexibility for personal circumstances, we generally expect employees to work from our offices five days a week. This approach has consistently shown that spontaneous interactions, rapid problem-solving, and the energy of in-person teamwork lead to better results for our customers. In particular, our data shows that teams working together in person are more effective at making complex decisions, onboarding new team members, and fostering the kind of creative collaboration that has driven Amazon's success. The serendipitous hallway conversations and impromptu whiteboarding sessions that happen naturally in an office environment have proven invaluable to our invention process and maintaining our high bar for excellence.
Your day balances established financial mechanisms with tackling new challenges that require innovative thinking. You might start by reviewing key performance metrics and preparing insightful analyses for an upcoming business review with Sales leadership. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners on strategic initiatives, dive deep into data to uncover business insights, and develop recommendations that drive action. The role offers a stimulating mix of structured financial processes and ambiguous problem-solving opportunities that allow you to create new solutions.
You'll join an agile Finance team with diverse backgrounds and expertise, working closely together on projects in a collaborative atmosphere. The team partners with AWS sales organizations to drive business growth through financial insights and strategic guidance. We value innovative thinking, customer focus, and data-driven decision making. Our team culture encourages knowledge sharing, professional development, and building strong relationships across the organization. We work at the intersection of finance and technology, with opportunities to design and implement new solutions that impact one of Amazon's fastest-growing businesses.
