Senior HR Officer

About the Role

The Senior HR Officer will oversee a broad range of human resources activities, ensuring that employee-related processes are managed efficiently and in accordance with UAE Labour Law. The position requires someone who can coordinate recruitment and onboarding, supervise payroll-related activities, manage employee records, and handle workplace concerns professionally. A key part of the role involves developing HR policies, supporting performance management, and ensuring that employment documentation remains compliant with applicable regulations. The selected candidate will also coordinate with PROs and government authorities regarding visa processing, labour contracts, CICPA requirements, and other employee-related formalities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll coordination, employee relations, and offboarding. Responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with UAE employment regulations. The role also involves overseeing performance evaluations, managing employee grievances, handling disciplinary procedures, and resolving workplace conflicts. Additionally, the Senior HR Officer will coordinate visa processing, labour contracts, CICPA documentation, and government-related formalities while working closely with PROs and relevant authorities.

Essential Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. The ability to handle confidential employee information, manage sensitive workplace matters, and resolve conflicts professionally is essential. Candidates should also have experience in training and development, career progression, workforce planning, and succession planning.
