Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer Hospitality

Our client a well-established hospitality group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and enhance the organizations IT infrastructure across its hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking solutions and Palo Alto Networks firewalls ensuring secure reliable and high-performing IT services that support both business operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure including LAN WAN WLAN VPN and data center environments.
  
• Configure monitor and troubleshoot Cisco routers switches wireless controllers and access points.
  
• Administer and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls including security policies VPNs NAT URL filtering IPS and threat prevention.
  
• Ensure maximum network availability performance and security across hospitality properties.
  
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively resolve system and network issues.
  
• Manage Windows Server environments Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and file services.
  
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  
• Oversee backup disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  
• Support hospitality systems including Property Management Systems (PMS) POS systems guest Wi-Fi IPTV VoIP CCTV and access control.
  
• Lead infrastructure upgrades migrations and technology implementation projects.
  
• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver IT projects and maintain service levels.
  
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation network diagrams and standard operating procedures.
  
• Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior IT team members.
  
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and company IT policies.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum 710 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Network Administration.
  
• At least 3 years of experience within the hospitality industry (hotel resort hospitality group or luxury property).
  

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  

  • Cisco Routing & Switching
    
  • Cisco Wireless Solutions
    
  • Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
    
  • VPN Technologies
    
  • Network Security
    
  • Windows Server Administration
    
  • Active Directory
    
  • VMware or Hyper-V
    
• Experience supporting enterprise hospitality applications and guest technology infrastructure.
  
• Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  

Preferred Certifications

• Cisco CCNA or CCNP Enterprise
  
• Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE
  
• VMware VCP (preferred)
  
• Microsoft Certified (Windows Server or Azure)
  
• ITIL Foundation (preferred)
