Job Overview
An opportunity is available for a Senior Manager – AI to lead enterprise-wide artificial intelligence strategy, transformation, innovation, governance, and business value creation in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. Reporting to the CEO at Grade 12, the role will be responsible for translating AI strategy into scalable solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
The position requires strong leadership experience across machine learning, deep learning, AI engineering, data engineering, and AI lifecycle management. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional AI teams, manage the enterprise AI portfolio and investments, establish responsible AI governance, and work with senior leadership and external technology partners. Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead AI transformation initiatives across the organization.
- Develop and oversee advanced AI products, platforms, and scalable solutions.
- Establish and chair AI governance frameworks.
- Promote responsible AI practices covering privacy, fairness, explainability, compliance, and risk management.
- Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional AI teams.
- Promote enterprise-wide AI literacy and adoption.
- Manage the AI portfolio, investments, budgets, and business value measurement.
- Evaluate build, buy, or blended technology strategies.
- Guide AI architecture and technology selection.
- Develop strategic partnerships with technology vendors and research institutions.
- Engage with industry bodies and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with the CEO, C-suite, and senior leadership on AI strategy and transformation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in AI, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading enterprise transformation and cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Strong expertise in machine learning and deep learning.
- Experience with AI engineering, data engineering, and AI lifecycle management.
- Proven experience working with C-suite and senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of AI use cases and responsible AI.
- Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, risk management, and emerging AI technologies.
- Strong strategic, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant AI or data certifications are an advantage.
