About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Network Engineer to lead the engineering, operational assurance, and continuous improvement of Fusion Integrated Solutions' enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, data-centre, and cloud-connectivity services. The role provides authoritative network guidance, owns significant reliability and design outcomes, and leads complex network changes and major connectivity incidents.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, operation, and optimisation of complex LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, data-centre, and cloud-connectivity solutions.
- Define and maintain network standards, reference configurations, topology documentation, IP address-management practices, and engineering runbooks.
- Own complex network incident investigation, recovery coordination, root-cause analysis, and preventive improvement actions.
- Plan and lead major network upgrades, migrations, capacity improvements, site deployments, and lifecycle replacement activities.
- Assure network change designs, configuration quality, performance, availability, resilience, and supportability before implementation.
- Advise stakeholders on network risks, technology options, capacity, resilience, investment priorities, and service improvement.
- Mentor network engineers, coordinate vendors and telecoms providers, and lead technical reviews and post-incident learning.
Candidate Attributes
- Deep enterprise network-engineering judgement across routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and performance/resilience.
- Ability to lead complex incidents, guide engineers, and influence technical stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong technical documentation, design-review, governance, and root-cause-analysis discipline.
- Outcome-focused ownership of network availability, capacity, service quality, and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related technical discipline is mandatory.
- 7+ years in network engineering, including substantial complex or lead-level responsibility
- CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, Aruba expert, SD-WAN, cloud-networking, or comparable certifications are strongly preferred.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is desirable.
