We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Securities Services Team as a Senior Product Manager, Fund Services. This role will primarily focus on strategy, roadmap and delivery of HSBC's Investor AML/KYC proposition within our Global Fund Services Product team. Working across European and Asian time zones you'll shape scalable products and operating models across client segments and key fund jurisdictions. The role brings together Product, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance to deliver enhancements that reflect evolving client needs and regulatory expectations. You'll engage directly with clients to define requirements, design solutions and support implementation.
In this role, you will:
- Own the global Investor AML/KYC strategy and roadmap aligning priorities across Product Operations Technology Risk and Compliance
- Translate client market and regulatory developments into executable initiatives across client segments and key fund jurisdictions
- Assess new opportunities and enhancements for client value control implications scalability and commercial viability
- Build and enhance the Investor AML/KYC capability across fund jurisdictions with clear service standards and consistent outcomes
- Define the proposition service model policies and supporting documentation with alignment across Europe and Asia
- Set pricing approaches and maintain rate cards in line with commercial profitability and risk objectives
- Partner with Technology and Global Product Delivery to define future-state architecture platform priorities and digital enablement
- Sponsor and govern change including business cases feasibility prioritisation and decisions for platforms supporting the proposition
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bring substantial experience in financial services including Transfer Agency Fund Administration Trustee services or a closely related fund-servicing environment
- Apply deep expertise in Investor AML/KYC and financial crime risk control including CDD EDD sanctions screening beneficial ownership and ongoing monitoring
- Interpret regulatory expectations and industry practice across key fund jurisdictions and convert them into proportionate product policy control and operating-model decisions
- Demonstrate senior experience owning an Investor AML/KYC product running Investor AML/KYC operations or providing financial crime risk stewardship for fund-servicing activities
- Show strong knowledge of the funds industry securities markets and relevant market infrastructure
- Use a strong understanding of the technology and data landscape supporting Transfer Agency and Investor AML/KYC including workflow screening and digital enablement
- Evidence the ability to set strategy design solutions deliver change and make risk-based decisions across competing priorities
- Influence effectively across Product Operations Technology Risk Compliance and senior client audiences with strong written verbal and presentation skills
- Hold an AML compliance or financial crime qualification or bring equivalent demonstrable experience
- A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. For degrees obtained outside the UAE, valid attestations and equivalency are also mandatory.
- Under the New Labour Law, only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) – hence in line with the term of work permit, a 4 years' contract would be issued.
