For a prestigious project in the high-end furniture and luxury interiors sector , we are seeking an accomplished Senior Leather Craftsman & Production Specialist with outstanding technical expertise, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to transform know-how into production excellence.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional who combines the precision of traditional leather craftsmanship with a modern approach to production processes, innovation, and team development.
YOUR EXPERTISE
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with:
- At least 7 years of proven experience in leather stitching, upholstery, and leather manufacturing, preferably in luxury furniture, contract furnishings, hospitality, retail, or high-end interior design.
- Exceptional knowledge of traditional and advanced leather stitching techniques, including natural leather and innovative sustainable synthetic materials.
- Advanced expertise in industrial and specialist leather sewing machinery, technical processes, and production optimization.
- Strong understanding of quality standards, precision craftsmanship, finishing techniques, and materials handling.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop skilled production teams, transferring technical knowledge through practical demonstrations and on-the-job training.
- Leadership skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with management, production teams, and clients.
- Excellent command of English.
- A technical or vocational diploma in leather craftsmanship or a related field would be an advantage.
Immediate availability to relocate to Dubai is essential.
YOUR MISSION
Working closely with senior management, you will become a technical reference point for the development and enhancement of the leather stitching department.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing existing production processes, identifying opportunities to improve craftsmanship, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Introducing and demonstrating advanced artisanal and industrial leather stitching techniques.
- Training and mentoring local craftsmen, supporting the development of technical skills and consistent production standards.
- Evaluating existing equipment and recommending upgrades to specialist stitching machinery.
- Optimizing workflows, material handling, and production methods while preserving the highest standards of luxury craftsmanship.
- Supporting a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
