I am supporting a search for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead decommissioning activities from early-stage definition through to offshore removal and disposal.
This is a key role responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and cost-effective decommissioning of offshore assets, ensuring full compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full lifecycle of offshore decommissioning projects (concept to removal & disposal)
Coordinate multi-discipline engineering during Concept, FEED, and EPIC phases
Ensure delivery against schedule, budget, safety, and quality targets
Lead project meetings, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
Drive effective team collaboration across engineering and execution teams
Requirements
BSc in Engineering (Master’s advantageous)
12+ years experience in oil & gas project engineering / project management
Strong background in offshore decom projects
Proven experience across Concept, FEED, and EPIC phases
Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
Professional membership (PMI, IChem E, IMech E, etc.) is advantageous
