Position Summary

Focus Infotech is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager – IT to lead complex software development and enterprise technology initiatives. This role is designed for seasoned project management professionals with extensive experience delivering large-scale IT programs using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, vendor management expertise, PMP certification, and a proven track record of successfully delivering software and digital transformation projects.

Key Requirements

• 15+ years of overall professional experience
• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Minimum 5 years managing IT and Software Development projects
• Experience leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives
• Software Engineering background highly desirable
• Airline industry experience is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and report IT projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of software development and technology implementation projects.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Governance & Reporting

• Establish project governance frameworks and reporting structures.
• Define project cadence, review mechanisms, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Track milestones, task completion, dependencies, and critical paths.

Vendor & Procurement Management

• Lead RFP preparation and vendor evaluation activities.
• Manage vendor selection, negotiations, and contracting processes.
• Oversee third-party software and technology implementation partners.
• Ensure vendor performance aligns with business objectives and contractual commitments.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with business units, executive sponsors, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and project communications effectively.
• Conduct steering committee and executive review meetings.

Risk & Change Management

• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proactively manage project issues and dependencies.
• Implement formal change-control processes.
• Manage scope, timeline, and budget changes through governance frameworks.

Team Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across technology and business functions.
• Coordinate internal and external project resources.
• Foster collaboration across development, infrastructure, QA, security, and business teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and project delivery excellence.
