Job Description

Reports To: Group Head

Top 5 things you will do in your role:

1. Media Relations & Outreach

• Identify and engage with relevant entertainment journalists, publications, influencers, creators, and industry stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts across film, OTT, television, music, lifestyle, and entertainment.
• Drive media outreach for press releases, interviews, features, reviews, announcements, and story placements.
• Identify relevant media opportunities for clients and ensure timely follow-ups.

2. Content Development & Communication

• Draft press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, interview briefs, reports, agendas, and other communication materials.
• Develop communication ideas and content aligned with client objectives and entertainment trends.
• Support the creation of client presentations, campaign decks, and internal documents.
• Ensure all communication is accurate, timely, and aligned with the client's brand and messaging.

3. Client Servicing & Execution

• Support the day-to-day management of entertainment client accounts and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams, talent, media, influencers, and other stakeholders to execute campaigns and communication plans.
• Support the execution of film/OTT launches, talent campaigns, screenings, events, premieres, media interactions, and other entertainment-led activations.
• Manage client requests and ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of projects.

4. Campaign Coordination & Reporting

• Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, launches, events, and media activations.
• Monitor campaign performance and maintain media coverage and campaign trackers.
• Prepare media monitoring reports, campaign summaries, and competitive analysis.
• Track relevant entertainment conversations, trends, and opportunities to identify potential PR opportunities for clients.

5. Industry Awareness & Relationship Building

• Stay updated on the entertainment, media, OTT, film, music, celebrity, and influencer landscape.
• Proactively identify relevant media and industry opportunities for clients.
• Build strong working relationships with journalists, influencers, creators, talent teams, and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced agency environment.

Top 5 things you need to have for this role:

• 3+ years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, or a similar role, preferably with experience in the entertainment sector.
• Strong understanding of the entertainment media landscape, including films, OTT, talent, music, and lifestyle.
• Strong existing media relationships, particularly with entertainment and lifestyle publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling pitches and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
