Build Your Career. Help Build the Future of Summit.

Summit Wealth Strategies is seeking an experienced advisor who combines exceptional relationship skills with sharp financial judgment.

We’re looking for someone who can become the primary advisor for households with $1 million or more in investable assets, earning their trust, understanding what matters to them, and delivering thoughtful advice across retirement planning, investments, and their broader financial lives.

You should be equally comfortable connecting with people and working through complex financial decisions. You ask good questions, recognize planning opportunities, explain recommendations clearly, and help clients move forward with confidence.

CFP®, RICP®, or similar professional designations are strongly preferred.

About Summit

Our financial-services roots date back to 1954 through the Duff family. Today, co-founders Andy Duff, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, and Keith Fedor, RICP®, are building on that foundation with sophisticated retirement planning, modern technology, and a national marketing platform.

With 70+ years history and clients in more than 40 states , Summit combines an established foundation with significant opportunity for growth.

We commonly serve families approaching or entering retirement with $1–$10 million in investable assets. Our focus is helping them bring the pieces of their financial lives together into a coordinated retirement strategy.

We’re growing our team and capabilities with one priority at the center: taking exceptional care of our clients.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with Keith to support prospective-client conversations and take ownership of new and existing client relationships.

We need someone who can contribute from day one, confidently lead meetings, and become an advisor our clients trust and enjoy working with.

Initially, you’ll lead goals and discovery meetings and participate alongside Keith in analysis and strategy meetings. As you become established within Summit, you’ll have the opportunity to take greater ownership of the full sales process.

What You’ll Do

• Become the primary advisor for new millionaire client relationships and take over a portion of our existing relationships.
• Lead client reviews and provide proactive advice as clients’ lives and financial needs evolve.
• Develop and explain coordinated retirement strategies covering income, investments, withdrawals, Social Security, tax considerations, and legacy goals.
• Identify planning opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and turn analysis into clear recommendations.
• Lead prospect discovery meetings and help guide prospective clients through our analysis and strategy process.
• Work with our operations team to ensure recommendations are implemented and follow-up items are completed.
• Coordinate with clients’ tax and legal professionals when appropriate.
• Help improve our planning approach, client experience, and advisory processes as we grow.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re personable, curious, and a strong listener. You can build rapport with affluent clients while leading substantive conversations and earning their confidence.

A sharp financial thinker.

You have strong knowledge of retirement planning, investments, and overall financial advice. You can assess a complex situation, identify what matters, and explain both your recommendation and the reasoning behind it.

You have successfully served affluent households and can independently manage meetings, advice, communication, and follow-through.

Someone who takes ownership.

You prepare thoroughly, anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and follow through without constant reminders.

Additional qualifications:

• Required licenses: Active Series 7 registration plus either Series 63 and Series 65, or Series 66; and Life, Health & Disability insurance licenses
• 5+ Years Experience
• CFP®, RICP®, or similar designations strongly preferred.
