Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Roller with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Roller Operator in a long product rolling mill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor high-speed block mill operations.
- Change passes, rings, and guides according to the required rolling size.
- Inspect finished coils to ensure product quality and weight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot rolling mill issues and assist in clearing cobbles.
- Guide team members and support shift operations.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and strictly follow health, safety, and quality standards.
- Act as Shift Supervisor in the absence of the regular supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a long product rolling mill.
- Experience in high-speed block mill operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of roll pass design, precision measuring instruments, and finished product quality standards.
