Senior Sales Engineer

Soteria Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to support the company's business growth across the UAE. With operations in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, the company specializes in Project Management and Construction Claims services, helping contractors and developers protect their commercial interests and recover outstanding entitlements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding the company's presence within the UAE construction industry. This role is ideal for professionals with an established industry network and a proven ability to generate leads and close high-value business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate qualified business opportunities for Project Management and Construction Claims services across the UAE.
• Identify contractors and developers facing project delays, disruptions, variations, or payment disputes and recommend suitable solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, consultants, project owners, and other key stakeholders.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and project needs assessments.
• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms and successfully secure new business engagements.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular progress updates and sales forecasts.
• Monitor market trends, upcoming construction projects, and competitor activities.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and exhibitions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering sales or business development.
• Proven experience within the UAE market with a strong professional network in the construction industry.
• Good understanding of construction contracts, project delivery, and commercial management.
• Demonstrated success in generating qualified leads and closing business deals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English.
• Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence, if required.

Strong knowledge of:

• Engineering sales and business development strategies.
• Construction contracts, project management, and commercial claims.
• Client relationship management, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline
