Role Purpose
Handle direct work executed on site by main contractor supervise work executed by sub-contractors and assist the project engineer in specific duties.
Key Accountabilities
Follow safety regulations and assist in implementing such regulations on site.
- Oversee building work.
- Survey sites.
- Solve problems and provide technical advice.
- Check and prepare site reports.
- Liaise with other engineers, surveyors, clients and sub-contractors.
- Aware with all project drawings and specifications.
- Read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
- Ensure that all established HSE & Quality policies are administered and enforced in all areas.
- Report all violations and resolved on time.
- Effective implementation of HSE Management system as per HSE procedures.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Bachelors of Engineering or other related engineering field.
- Minimum 5+ years significant Industrial, commercial, residential construction experience,
- With knowledge of civil and structural codes
- Other associated codes used in the project, excellent technical background and skills in industrial environment.
- Able to control a multi‑national workforce in a dynamic situation.
- Has excellent oral & written communication in English and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in all outside weather and site conditions.
