Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

Lead mentor and manage a team of engineers developers and data scientists.
Oversee the technical aspects of projects related to BIM GIS smart cities and digital twin technologies.
Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Project Planning and :

Develop detailed project plans including scope budget timeline and resource allocation.
Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies city planners and private sector partners.
Ensure successful project delivery from conceptual design through deployment and maintenance.

Technical Oversight:

Provide technical leadership in the design and integration of BIM GIS and digital twin solutions into smart city projects.
Ensure the adoption of best practices in data management software development and system integration.
Implement robust cybersecurity measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Strategy and Innovation:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance smart city initiatives using BIM GIS and digital twin technologies.
Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and technological advancements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
Present technical concepts and project updates to senior management clients and partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in civil engineering Computer Science Geospatial Science or a related field (masters or Ph.D. preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of experience in smart cities BIM GIS digital twins or related fields.
Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects and managing technical teams in Abu Dhabi.

Skills:

Expertise in BIM GIS smart city technologies and digital twin platforms.
Strong leadership project management and strategic planning skills.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical capabilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and programming languages (e.g. AutoCAD Revit ArcGIS Python).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Requirements:

Professional certifications (e.g. PMP PE GISP) preferred.
Experience with public sector projects and regulatory environments is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed.
