SOC L3 Analyst- QATAR

We are looking for an experienced L2/L3 SOC Analyst to join our client's cybersecurity team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in security incident response, penetration testing, security assessments, and web application security testing, along with hands‑on experience with Microsoft Security solutions and Microsoft Defender.

Job Title: L2/L3 SOC Analyst

Contract Type: Yearly Renewable

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, handling L2/L3 escalations.
• Perform incident analysis, threat detection, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security testing.
• Perform web application security testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Work with Microsoft Security Suite and Microsoft Defender for threat detection, investigation, and response.
• Analyze security alerts, logs, and indicators of compromise to identify potential threats.
• Support threat hunting, incident containment, and recovery activities.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in SOC operations, incident response, and cybersecurity.
• Strong hands‑on experience in L2/L3 security incident handling and response.
• Practical experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience in web application security testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Security solutions, particularly Microsoft Defender.

Preferred Certifications

• OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
