Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Soil Technician to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting soil testing and field investigations, collecting soil samples from project sites, monitoring site conditions, performing laboratory and field tests, and preparing accurate technical reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Conduct soil testing and geotechnical investigations in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• - Collect, label, handle, and transport soil samples from construction sites for testing and analysis.
• - Perform field and laboratory soil tests as required.
• - Inspect and monitor soil conditions and site activities during ongoing projects.
• - Operate and maintain soil testing equipment and ensure accurate test results.
• - Record test data, analyze results, and prepare clear and accurate technical reports.
• - Ensure compliance with applicable testing procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• - Coordinate with engineers and site teams regarding soil testing activities and findings.
• - Maintain proper documentation of test results, sampling records, and site observations.

Skills

Requirements:

• - Minimum 3 years of practical experience in soil testing and geotechnical fieldwork.
• - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• - Practical knowledge of soil sampling procedures and field and laboratory testing methods.
• - Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate testing records.
• - Familiarity with soil testing equipment and relevant testing standards.
• - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• - Willingness to work on construction sites as required.
