Founded in 2014 to solve repetitive customer engagement challenges, we've evolved into a full-stack solution that unifies data, AI, and engagement across 16+ channels.
At the core of our platform is Merlin AI - our purpose-built Agentic AI for marketing teams. Merlin enables marketers with a suite of specialized native and custom agents to build segments, campaigns, discover insights and automate marketing workflows. With our recent acquisition of Aampe, brands can now create a decisioning agent per user to bring true 1:1 personalization at scale for over 1B+ monthly active users.
For over a decade, MoEngage has helped brands in 60+ countries create standout digital experiences for more than a billion customers every month. Backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs Asset Management, B Capital, Steadview Capital, ChrysCapital, Multiples, Eight Roads, F-Prime, and Matrix Partners, we've grown to 800+ employees across 15 global offices, recently closing a $280M Series F round.
We're also proud to be recognized as a 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ Visionary for Personalization Engines, a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™ for Cross-Channel Marketing Hubs, and the only vendor named a Customers' Choice in the 2026 Gartner® Peer Insights™ Voice of the Customer for Email Marketing.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect within the Strategic Customer Success organisation, you will be the senior technical authority for MoEngage's most complex and high-value customer relationships. You will own the full post-sales technical journey - from pre-go-live solutioning and SDK/API integration through to ongoing campaign architecture, analytics design, and platform evolution.
What You'll Own
Technical Solutioning & Architecture
- Serve as the senior technical voice in strategic customer engagements, designing end-to-end solutions across SDK integration, API workflows, data pipelines, campaign orchestration, and analytics reporting
- Evaluate and validate the technical feasibility of complex customer use cases, translating business requirements into scalable implementation blueprints
- Guide customers through architectural decisions - from event schema design and identity resolution to multi-channel campaign logic and data export strategies
- Lead discovery sessions with customer product and engineering teams to deeply understand their tech stack, data model, and marketing objectives, then map these to MoEngage's capabilities
Onboarding & Time-to-Value
- Own the technical onboarding experience for strategic accounts end-to-end, driving rapid, high-quality go-lives that set customers up for long-term success
- Partner with Onboarding Managers and CSMs to build detailed, actionable technical delivery plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and success criteria
- Support customers through SDK and API integrations, troubleshooting blockers and providing hands-on guidance to their engineering teams
- Validate campaign and reporting deployments for correctness, completeness, and alignment with stated business goals before go-live
Enablement & Adoption
- Design and deliver tailored technical and product enablement programmes - including onsite workshops, virtual deep-dives, and written playbooks - that empower customer teams to operate MoEngage independently
- Build reusable training frameworks, technical guides, and best-practice documentation that scale across the SA team
- Identify adoption gaps and proactively design interventions with the CSM to increase platform utilisation and customer ROI
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders (Head of Product, CTO, VP Marketing), helping them think through platform strategy and roadmap alignment
Cross-functional Impact
- Synthesise patterns from customer implementations and feed structured product feedback to MoEngage's Product and Engineering teams, influencing roadmap prioritisation
- Contribute to the development of the SA practice - defining engagement models, building playbooks, and improving how technical delivery is scoped and executed
- Partner with Sales Engineering during complex commercial cycles when deep post-sales credibility is needed
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a senior Implementation/Customer Engineering role - ideally within MarTech, SaaS, or a customer data platform environment
- Strong command of mobile and web SDK integration, REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and customer data modelling
- Experience owning enterprise-scale technical onboardings with multiple internal stakeholders and complex integration requirements
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical workshops and drive alignment across engineering, product, and marketing stakeholders on the customer side
- Excellent written and verbal communication - you can explain a data pipeline to a CTO and explain attribution logic to a CMO with equal clarity
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and navigating large, matrixed customer organisations
- Experience with analytics and reporting design (funnels, cohorts, campaign attribution) is a strong plus
- Prior experience in a marketing automation, CDP, or omnichannel engagement platform is highly advantageous
