Solution Specialist, Manager (Pre-Sales Experience in Networking, )

As a Solution Specialist Manager you will serve as the critical bridge between customers sales teams product managers and solution engineering teams within SITA s Communications Data Exchange CDX Portfolio You will combine technical expertise customer engagement and commercial acumen to help drive business growth across the Middle East and Africa region This role focuses on translating complex customer requirements into compelling solution narratives enabling successful customer engagements and accelerating opportunities from initial discovery through solution positioning and offer development Reporting to the Product Management Director within Communications Data Exchange you will play a key role in expanding SITA s connectivity cybersecurity networking and managed services portfolio by partnering closely with Business Development Managers Product Managers and Solution Engineers You will act as the customer advocate throughout the sales journey ensuring customer challenges technical requirements and business objectives are effectively translated into successful solution outcomes This role is ideal for a technical pre-sales professional seeking to expand into a highly customer-facing commercially focused position while maintaining strong involvement in solution strategy and technology discussions

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Partner with Business Development Managers to identify qualify and progress strategic opportunities across the Communications Data Exchange portfolio.
• Lead customer discovery sessions workshops and solution discussions to understand business challenges technical requirements and strategic objectives.
• Present and position SITA s networking connectivity cybersecurity and digital communication solutions to customers and partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor between sales product management solution engineering and customers to ensure alignment throughout the opportunity lifecycle.
• Build and maintain opportunity pipelines with regional sales teams while supporting account growth and long-term customer engagement strategies.
• Translate customer needs into actionable requirements and contribute to the development of customer-centric solution strategies.
• Support RFP responses solution positioning activities business case development and commercial discussions.
• Conduct high-level solution assessments identifying risks opportunities dependencies and recommended approaches before formal solution design activities begin.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to provide market insights customer feedback and recommendations that support portfolio growth and innovation.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across SITA teams to ensure solutions meet customer expectations and business objectives while supporting revenue growth.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, solution engineering, technical sales support, or customer-facing technology roles.
• Proven understanding of networking, connectivity solutions, cybersecurity, wireless networking, LAN/WAN technologies, cloud networking, or telecommunications services.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to customers, business stakeholders, and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions and customer-focused outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to identify customer needs, ask insightful discovery questions, and develop solution recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of solution sales cycles, account management, and customer engagement processes.
• Exceptional communication, storytelling, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, drive accountability, and maintain a customer-centric approach.
• Fluent English and Arabic are required. French would be considered a strong advantage.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience working with telecommunications operators, system integrators, managed service providers, or technology vendors.
• Experience supporting airport, aviation, transportation, or critical infrastructure customers.
