Job Summary

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for developing and growing the Southeast Regional US sales territory that will generate sales in home appliance categories as well as RAC, floor care, compacts & small appliances. In addition, this role will be our single point of contact for the NATM corporate office as well as our new and expanding RTO (Rent-to-Own) channel (Aaron’s).

This role will be tasked with managing and expanding the home appliance assortment of products including Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Range, Microwave.

This account manager will be able to articulate customer needs, identify new business opportunities, manage the annual program to drive profitable growth, and build a winning joint business plan with customers. Being the customer expert for the company, this individual will foster customer relationships and effectively collaborate across Midea's cross-functional teams.

Major Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop, own, and lead the business plan for home appliance categories across the Southeast territory, aligned to regional and company growth targets.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for the NATM corporate office and the Rent-to-Own channel, including Aaron’s, and build these accounts into long-term, profitable partnerships.
• Build and execute joint business plans with customers, covering assortment, pricing, promotions, and annual programs, in close collaboration with Product Management.
• Manage and expand the home appliance assortment carried by assigned accounts.
• Achieve assigned KPIs for profitable sales volume, margin, and strategic account objectives.
• Monitor account performance, identify opportunities and risks, and develop and execute action plans.
• Partner with customers and Midea Operations and Supply Chain teams to deliver accurate sales forecasts.
• Lead problem solving with customers through clear, fact-based communication, pursuing solutions that work for both the customer and Midea.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Service to meet account objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Bring the voice of the customer to internal teams so that customer needs are understood and met.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven ability to build and grow relationships with large regional or national accounts, from buyers to senior executives
• Strong business acumen, including P&L, margin, pricing, and promotional program management
• Ability to build joint business plans and turn sales data into clear action plans
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, territory-based role and manage multiple accounts and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with CRM tools

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of strategic sales experience managing major accounts in home appliances, durable goods, or consumer products
• Demonstrated success growing sales within large regional accounts
• Home appliance category experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience with buying groups or the Rent-to-Own channel (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during store visits, trade shows, and customer events.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, such as product samples and display materials.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car and air.
• Travel up to 50% within the Southeast territory and to customer headquarters, trade shows, and Midea offices.
