Sr Recruitment Consultant - Delivery

The Role

Davies Talent Solutions is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team in New York. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys identifying top talent, building meaningful candidate relationships, and delivering exceptional recruitment outcomes within the insurance and broader professional services markets.

Working closely with a Business Development team, and fellow delivery professionals, you will play a key role in executing recruitment assignments, sourcing high-caliber talent, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

This position offers a clear career progression path, allowing successful individuals to advance in their Delivery role or transition into a full 360 Recruitment Consultant position with business development responsibilities if desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Managing Principal Consultants and Business Development professionals to support the successful delivery of client hiring mandates.
• Source, identify, engage, and attract high-quality candidates through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and market mapping initiatives.
• Conduct candidate qualification calls and interviews to assess experience, technical capability, career motivations, and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates, developing a strong talent network within assigned market verticals.
• Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and assist with offer management and onboarding activities.
• Attend client briefing meetings alongside Business Development team members when appropriate to gain a detailed understanding of hiring requirements and organizational needs.
• Develop a deep understanding of assigned client accounts, market trends, and talent landscapes.
• Collaborate with delivery and business development teams to ensure alignment on recruitment strategy, candidate quality, and client expectations.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking within the CRM and ATS systems.
• Contribute market intelligence, candidate insights, and talent availability updates to internal stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Previous recruitment, talent acquisition, staffing, or executive search experience preferred.
• Strong candidate sourcing, networking, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build credibility and trust with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
• Interest in developing expertise within the insurance, financial services, or regulated industries is highly desirable.
