TempExperts is partnering with a well-established international organization to add an experienced Staff Accountant to its Miami accounting team. You'll work closely with accounting leadership and operations, and get hands-on exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, general ledger work and project accounting.

What you'll be doing
- Preparing and maintaining accounting records, schedules and reconciliations
- Reconciling monthly balance sheet accounts
- Recording journal entries, accruals and expense allocations to keep the general ledger accurate
- Helping with roll-forward schedules for fixed assets, leases, prepaids and accruals
- Supporting calculations for leases, rents, royalties, allowances and recurring agreements
- Partnering with Operations during month-end close
- Helping with monthly, quarterly and year-end close
- Preparing financial analyses and ad hoc reports for management
- Providing documentation and support for internal and external audits
- Monitoring project activity, investigating variances and helping with project billing and collections
- Finding ways to make accounting processes faster and more accurate
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- A strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems; SAP experience preferred
- Solid financial reporting and reconciliation skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail
- The ability to juggle priorities and hit deadlines
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across departments
