Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing client services and providing training and supervision to Specialized Direct Support Providers (SDSPs). The Coordinator will assess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate the needs of clients and respond accordingly. The Coordinator ensures that the services provided meet the needs of the clients, ensures that services are delivered with dignity and respect and meet regulatory requirements.
The Coordinator manages the overall operation of the Staffed Living Program and assists with the placement of individuals with intellectual disabilities in Staffed Living settings. They maintain a comprehensive understanding of DS Public Safety clients, stay informed about their status, and ensure the timely completion of all required public safety documentation. Additionally, the Coordinator provides training and guidance to SDSPs, ensuring adherence to procedures and the implementation of best practices. They work to ensure safe, appropriate placements while prioritizing the well-being of both individuals and the community.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (1):
Manages subordinates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees;
appraising performance;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.
COMPUTER SKILLS (2):
Proficiency is required in a Windows Operating System to include competency in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Additionally, proficiency is required with day-to-day information entry and retrieval in the Agency’s electronic medical record system, employee electronic expense tracking system, and electronic payroll self-entry system.
LANGUAGE SKILLS (3):
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS (4):
Ability to perform basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (5):
CERTIFICATES/LICENSE/REGISTRATION (6):
