Steward Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of stewards, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure that all areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of guest requests and special orders
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
• Handle and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Train and mentor new stewards, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their role
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and activities on board

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
