Job Description

Central Quarry & Mining (CQM) is looking for a reliable and organised Storekeeper to manage inventory and day-to-day store operations at our quarry facility in Ras Al Khaimah.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, managing the receipt and issuance of materials and spare parts, and ensuring the efficient organisation of store inventory to support ongoing quarry operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming materials, equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
• Issue materials and spare parts against authorised requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers regularly.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the relevant department when replenishment is required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and organisation of materials.
• Maintain records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Coordinate with the maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure materials are available when required.
• Identify discrepancies, damaged items, and slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised store.

Skills

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
• Experience in the mining, quarrying, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial sector is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in maintaining inventory records.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage stock accurately and follow established procedures.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
