Storekeeper

Zapegg Tax Consultant is looking for a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issue, and tracking of office supplies, equipment, stationery, and company materials in Dubai . The role requires maintaining accurate stock records, checking incoming items, organizing storage areas, and ensuring materials are available when needed. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, responsible, physically capable, and comfortable maintaining inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily receiving, storing, issuing, and recording of company materials and supplies.
• Receive incoming stationery, office equipment, consumables, and other authorized items.
• Check quantities, descriptions, and condition of goods against delivery documents.
• Report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy access.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records .
• Record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Issue materials only against approved requests or authorized documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management when replenishment is required.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
• Maintain proper documentation for purchases, deliveries, and stock movements.
• Use spreadsheets or inventory software to update stock information.
• Label shelves, boxes, and materials clearly to improve organization.
• Ensure frequently used office supplies are readily available to authorized departments.
• Maintain secure storage of company equipment and valuable materials.
• Coordinate with administration, finance, procurement, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
• Assist with preparing purchase or replenishment requests when stock reaches minimum levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store area.
• Follow appropriate procedures for handling fragile, electronic, and sensitive equipment.
• Ensure proper storage practices are followed to prevent loss or damage.
• Maintain records of obsolete, damaged, or unused materials.
• Assist during internal stock audits and inventory inspections.
• Report unusual stock movements or discrepancies promptly.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and internal controls.
• Perform other store and inventory-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; a diploma in Logistics, Inventory Management, or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Store Assistant, Inventory Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management procedures.
• Familiarity with MS Excel and basic inventory or ERP systems.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to organize materials efficiently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible and systematic approach to work.
• Ability to maintain confidential company records and assets.
• Physically fit and able to move office supplies and materials when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
