About the company:
We’re partnered with a highly respected structural engineering firm in the North Bethesda area looking to add an early-career Structural Engineer to its growing team.
This is a hybrid opportunity offering hands-on building design experience, strong technical mentorship, and a clear path toward greater project responsibility and PE licensure.
What you'll be doing:
- Performing structural analysis and calculations
- Supporting design of steel, concrete, masonry, and cold-formed steel structures
- Preparing structural drawings, details, and construction documents
- Working with Revit and BIM throughout project delivery
- Coordinating with engineers, architects, and other design professionals
- Reviewing RFIs and construction submittals
- Supporting projects from design through construction
What we're looking for:
- 1–3 years of structural engineering experience
- EIT certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Building design experience preferred
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, seismic, and wind design
- Experience with Revit and structural analysis software
- Familiarity with RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP, or similar programs
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
