About the Role

After the success of our Summer Camp for Grades 8–12 at IIT Delhi, Roobaroo.ai is launching Dubai's Best Winter Camp & Internship Program at SP Jain Global, Dubai (16–21 December). We're looking for a stellar, well-connected Student Counsellor & Education Consultant based in the UAE. You will connect with students and parents, understand their aspirations and guide them towards the right future-ready program. If this excites you, you can also help build our network of schools, school counsellors, study-abroad advisors and parent communities across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

The role has two parts : student and parent counselling (follow-ups, answering queries, driving enrolments), and community and partner outreach (bringing in referrals from schools, educators and parent groups). We are also open to candidates who can help with just one of these.

Student & Parent Counselling

• Call parents and students who have enquired or been referred, and follow up with them on WhatsApp.
• Understand student interests, aspirations and requirements.
• Explain program structure, benefits, schedules and pricing.
• Address queries on career guidance, profile building, AI, entrepreneurship, competitions and internships.
• Build trust with students and parents and guide them towards the right program.
• Drive conversions and achieve weekly enrolment targets.

Partner & Community Outreach

• Build relationships with school career and university counsellors, study-abroad consultants, tutors, coaching centres and parent-community groups who can refer students.
• Help organise info sessions, workshops or webinars for schools and parent communities.
• Represent Roobaroo.ai at school events, community meet-ups and on-ground activities in the UAE.
• Share local market insights (schools, curricula, parent concerns, pricing) with the team.

Operations

• Keep lead data, follow-ups and payment and confirmation status updated in Excel or our CRM.
• Coordinate with the team to give students a smooth onboarding experience.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is suitable for:

• UAE residents (Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah) with a valid visa and the right to work.
• 1–3+ years of experience in school counselling, university admissions, study abroad, career counselling or education sales. Experience in EdTech, coaching, training or admissions is a plus.
• An existing network among UAE schools (CBSE, ICSE, IB, British and American curricula) or Indian parent communities is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, counselling and convincing skills.
• Comfortable communicating in English. Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu or Arabic is a strong plus.
• Comfortable with calls, follow-ups and performance-oriented work.
• Basic Excel/CRM and lead management skills.
• Passionate about helping students make better educational and career decisions.

Engagement & Compensation

• Model 1 – Commission Only: tiered commission of 3%–5% on confirmed enrolments, based on conversions and the final commission structure.
• Model 2 – Fixed + Variable: AED 1,000/month fixed + 3% commission on confirmed enrolments, based on the quality of your work.

Work Timings

• Weekend availability preferred, as parents are easier to reach then
• Occasional on-ground meetings and events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah (not mandatory)

About the Founder – Bhaskar Singhania
