Qualifications\ NRequired Education:
\ NMinimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred: Vocational/Technical School Degree
\ NRequired Experience:
\ NMinimum: 1 year sterile processing experience
\ NRequired Certification/License/Registry:
\ NCertified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) credential from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) (formerly the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM)) or the Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) credential from the Certification Board For Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) within one (1) year post-hire
\ NPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Completion of a sterile processing course and/or a vocational/technical school diploma/degree in surgical technology. More than one (1) year of sterile processing experience. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
