Surgery - Vascular Physician

Locums Vascular Surgery coverage in Illinois with a mix of clinic, inpatient rounding, and trauma exposure. You will cover weekday clinic plus shared night and weekend call.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Adult patient population
• Clinical support includes APP coverage for clinic and rounding
• Case mix includes inpatient and outpatient vascular cases, including Level 1 trauma

Schedule

• Weekday clinic coverage, Monday through Friday
• Night call coverage, not every night
• Weekend coverage includes some 24 hour call shifts
• Coverage is needed in several blocks across late 2026 through early 2027

Cases and Procedures

• Must be comfortable with both open vascular surgery and endovascular procedures
• Inpatient and outpatient vascular cases, including Level 1 trauma
• Outpatient procedural component, about 6 outpatient procedures

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery, BE must be within 5 years
• Active Illinois license required
• ACLS, BLS, CSR, and DEA required
