Venture Search is partnering with a leading global hedge fund with $10bn+ AUM to identify an experienced Systematic Volatility Relative Value Portfolio Manager to join its growing investment platform in Dubai.

The firm is a highly established multi-strategy investment business with significant institutional capital and a global presence across the major financial markets. The platform provides experienced PMs with the infrastructure, technology, data and capital required to develop and scale differentiated systematic strategies.

This is a genuine PM opportunity for a systematic volatility investor with a proven track record in relative value and a differentiated approach to trading volatility.

The Opportunity

• Take full ownership of a systematic Volatility Relative Value strategy.
• Develop, manage and scale a systematic volatility portfolio across relevant equity and derivatives markets.
• Own the complete investment process, including alpha generation, portfolio construction, execution and risk management.
• Identify and exploit systematic relative value opportunities across volatility surfaces, maturities, strikes and related instruments.
• Leverage sophisticated data, technology and quantitative infrastructure to enhance and scale the strategy.
• Work alongside experienced quantitative researchers, traders and engineers while retaining significant autonomy.
• Opportunity to build a meaningful volatility trading business within a highly capitalised institutional platform.

Ideal Background

• Proven track record as a Systematic Volatility RV PM, Quant Trader or senior systematic volatility investor.
• Strong experience trading volatility relative value strategies.
• Deep understanding of volatility surfaces, options, derivatives and relative value frameworks.
• Demonstrable track record of generating strong, consistent risk‑adjusted returns.
• Strong quantitative and technical capabilities.
• Experience developing systematic strategies from research through to live trading.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, hedging, execution and risk.
• Candidates with an existing strategy, track record or team are particularly encouraged to apply.
