Job Overview

An urgent hiring opportunity is available for an experienced Systems Administration Consultant specialising in IT Operations in Qatar. The employer is seeking professionals with at least 5 years of enterprise Windows administration experience, including a minimum of 2 years in Tier 2/3 escalation support.

The successful candidate should have strong technical expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint management, Citrix virtual environments, and enterprise security solutions.

The role also requires advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities, knowledge of REST APIs and Microsoft Graph, and experience handling infrastructure incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), DNS, and DHCP.
• Support hybrid Entra ID environments and Entra Connect / FIM.
• Manage endpoint environments using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
• Support Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and OneDrive.
• Administer Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environments.
• Support Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Manage enterprise security solutions, including Trellix ENS, DLP, and Application Whitelisting.
• Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts.
• Work with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support for enterprise IT operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise Windows administration experience.
• At least 2 years of Tier 2/3 escalation support experience.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Windows Administration: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• Identity Management: Hybrid Entra ID, Entra Connect / FIM.
• Endpoint Management: Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
• Microsoft Services: Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Webex, OneDrive.
• Virtualisation: Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, including Studio, Director, and Workspace.
• Remote Access: Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Security: Trellix ENS, DLP, and Application Whitelisting.
• Automation & Integration: Advanced PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph.
• Operations: Virtualisation, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems.
