Key Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on the development of tax policy by reference to best practice and regulatory trends internationally Support tax and revenue administrations in effectively implementing tax and revenue policies Support governments with their strategy and engagement on international tax initiatives Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – legal, finance, economics, public policy – to deliver integrated solutions Prepare and present insights in a clear and compelling manner Skills and Attributes for Success Build strong client relationships Communicate excellently in a range of situations, both written and oral English Identify areas of risk, carry out effective reviews, and know when to refer upwards Act as a client‑focused, commercially aware team player capable of building effective relationships at all levels Possess project management skills: plan and prioritise work, meet deadlines, and monitor own budget Solve problems creatively and pragmatically To Qualify for the Role A degree in economics, finance, tax or accounting At least five years of relevant experience as a tax professional Experience working for a Big4 accounting firm is preferred, though candidates from governmental entities or international firms will also be considered Strong knowledge of domestic and international tax rules and tax authority practices Proven ability to manage multiple projects and interact with senior stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including drafting technical memos and policy papers #J-18808-Ljbffr
