Talan is seeking an experienced Technology Project Lead to deliver complex Digital Transformation programmes across the Energy and Utilities sector. The successful candidate will lead Smart Grid, Operational Technology (OT), Cloud, Data and AI initiatives, supporting the modernisation of transmission, distribution and enterprise technology environments.
The role requires strong programme leadership, stakeholder management and practical experience of utility operations, OT/IT integration and modern grid technologies.

Candidates should demonstrate experience across several of the following areas:
Industry Knowledge
Experience with utility communication protocols and industry standards is highly desirable, including IEC 61850 (Digital Substations, GOOSE communications and SCL engineering), IEC 60870-5-101/104 , DNP3 , Modbus , OPC-UA and IEC 62443 .
