Go-to-Market Project Lead — TikTok Shop

Educated Solutions Corp (ESC) has an exciting contract opportunity for a Go-to-Market Project Lead supporting our premier retail client’s TikTok Shop . This role coordinates the people, timelines, and deliverables behind brand activations, TikTok campaigns, LIVE programming, and major events, keeping go-to-market plans on track. The ideal candidate combines merchandising, buying, or category management experience with strong project coordination skills. You’ll partner with internal teams and external vendors to organize activation plans, communicate updates, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-moving social commerce environment. The role starts as a 5-month contract, working hybrid, approximately 6 days/month onsite in Bolingbrook, IL.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the TikTok Shop go-to-market calendar, tracking brand activations, LIVEs, campaigns, milestones, and deliverables.
• Help lead execution of major activation moments, including large-scale retail events, grand openings, and TikTok LIVEs at in-person brand events.
• Coordinate activation logistics, clarify responsibilities, and follow up with stakeholders to keep execution on schedule.
• Organize key meetings and touchpoints across cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Communicate program updates, priorities, deadlines, and outstanding needs to relevant partners.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, dependencies, and execution risks, escalating issues and helping coordinate solutions.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and support initiatives that contribute to TikTok Shop’s continued growth and innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, and/or category management.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and stay organized while managing multiple initiatives in a fast-moving business.
• Experience coordinating and executing brand activations, launches, or events involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination skills, including managing calendars, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up.
• Clear communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and support emerging channel needs.
• Ability to work onsite in Bolingbrook, IL, approximately 6 days per month .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TikTok Shop, social commerce, e-commerce, or LIVE shopping.
• Background in beauty retail, brand partnerships, or consumer product launches.
• Experience connecting merchandising priorities with marketing campaigns and customer-facing activations.
