About the role
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Training & Development Specialist to plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs that strengthen employee knowledge, skills, and performance in a banking environment. The role will ensure training initiatives align with business objectives, banking policies, and regulatory requirements.
What we're looking for
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Training and Development
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector is preferred
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
- Proven experience developing training materials and delivering classroom and virtual training
- Experience in training needs assessment, scheduling, and program coordination
- Exposure to onboarding, compliance, product knowledge, and customer service training is preferred
- Experience in succession planning and career development initiatives is an advantage
- Fluent English communication skills are required; Arabic is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Ability to assess training needs and identify competency gaps
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to prepare training manuals, presentations, and learning resources
- Strong skills in evaluating training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance indicators
- Ability to coordinate internal and external trainers and manage training logistics
- Accurate maintenance of training records and preparation of management reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Good stakeholder coordination skills with HR and business departments
